Naomi Osaka becomes the first Haitan/Japanese Tennis Player to win grand slam!

Naomi Osaka has made history on Saturday, becoming the first part Haitian and part Japanese woman to win a Grand Slam final after defeating tennis legend Serena Williams at the U.S. Open.

Osaka’s historic moment, however, was marred by an unfortunate outcome that left the young champion in tears. Serena Williams was accused of being coached something she vehemently denied and she was later fined for acting aggressively something she clearly felt she had the right to. Speaking at the press conference Williams brought light to the fact that there was a clear discrimination between male and female players and a hypocrisy that exists in how they display their anger on the pitch
